    Camden was founded as a school for girls in 1871 by Frances Mary Buss, one of the great pioneers of women's education. The school therefore has a long tradition of promoting opportunities for girls.

Our Main School

Camden School for Girls is a comprehensive school that provides an excellent education for all its students. We enable our students to find their own voices and develop their own opinions by encouraging a broad understanding of the world, a social conscience and a considerate approach to other people.

Our Sixth Form

We believe that the two years spent in the Sixth Form should be a pivotal period in the lives of our students: a time for maturing as well as developing academically, with many opportunities for rich and varied new experiences. We aim to foster in our students both self-confidence and independence of mind, so that they can approach their learning with vigour and enthusiasm.

Our success is reflected in our excellent exam results and rate of progression to Higher Education.
