    Y7 Fundraising

Year 7 alone raised £2400 this year for various charities and have truly established themselves as Camden Girls.

The four forms competed against each other to raise the most funds for their chosen charity.

    • 7C started off the competition and set themselves the challenge to avoid the traditional bake sale and went instead with some “guessing” games and a photo booth, all for Cancer research.
    • 7M pledged to Starlight Children Foundation, with a bake sale and lots of sporty challenges.
    • 7R organised a big cake sale and “guess the name” games, all whilst dressed up as various animals, raising money for Mayhew Animal Charity.
    • 7T put together a food stall, with cakes, delicious fruit kebabs and homemade biscuits free from palm oil, all for Greenpeace.

As a whole year group, they raised almost £1000 for Lepra by taking part in a workout challenge and they raised over £1100 during the annual dance-a-thon, raising money to help the school become more green.

Congratulations to 7R who have won the interform fundraising and were rewarded with a workshop in filmmaking from Sparks; and congratulations to 7T for winning the pizza party for the dance-a-thon.

Well done Year 7 for your community spirit, you’ve made us proud!
