When we went to the British Museum for our maths trip we got to see many interesting and different exhibits.
The most interesting was the money exhibit where we learnt about the history of money, not only in England but all around the world, including China and France. The history of money can be traced back over 4,000 years. During this time, currency has taken many different forms, from coins to banknotes, shells to mobile phones. From the earliest evidence to the latest developments in digital technology, money has been an important part of human societies. Looking at the history of money gives us a way to understand the history of the world.
Even though it was busy we managed to see lots of amazing exhibits and were able to interact with many of them.
It was an extremely interesting and informative day.
