    KS3 ICT competitions

Over the next few weeks there will be several competitions run l on Tuesday lunchtimes from 1pm, these exciting competitions will test the students computing skills through fun activities. To get involved, girls should just turn up to room 39. The first challenge is all about problem solving using lighbot. Prizes will be provided to the students who gather the most points over the course of the competitions. It would be great to see as many students in KS3 involved as possible so please encourage your daughter to get involved. The link to the lightbot challenge for practise is

    Plea for mobile phones

We are still collecting any old Android mobile phones please for an ICT project. If you have any spare, no matter how old please donate them. If they don't use micro USB leads, it would be helpful to have the charger too, please. We will undertake factory resets to destroy all data. No iPhones please as these are not required.

    Cyber Security Competition

Are you a current year 12 or year 11 coming to our sixth form and interested in cyber security? We will be entering students from the main school into the cybersecurity challenge and since team members can be from the ages of 12-18, we are looking for keen problem solvers, coders and people who generally are willing to give things a go, to get involved. The link below provides more details. If you are interested please see Ms Man or email her on by the end of term.

    Many thanks
