CASCA Meeting, Quiz Night Tickets, Parents' Forum, Table Top Sale....

    Parents’ Forum - 'A Bluffer’s Guide to Social Media’ - Thursday 8 March, 7pm to 8.30pm - with a bar from 6.30pm.

Ravin Sampat, Assistant Editor of BBC Stories, BBC News, will give a practical, hands-on talk. He'll demystify the language and tools of social media, to help parents (and their kids) avoid some of the common hazards of trolling, negative talk, bullying and inappropriate posting. Increasingly our children are living much of their lives on social media, but for many parents this rapidly evolving online world is a mystery. Natasha Bateman, BBC Stories Instagram presenter and content producer, will join Ravin to give you her perspective of using and working with social media tools. We'd like to make the discussion as interactive as possible and would love to get questions in advance, so we can cover issues of concern and interest to parents. So, please do email any questions in advance to

CASCA Open Meeting - after the Parents' Forum (Thursday 8 March, 8.30pm to 9pm)

Please join us after the Parents' Forum for a short Open Meeting with an update on CASCA activities, as well as opportunities to get involved. In particular, we want to outline opportunities to join and lead the core team, from the Summer Term onwards. We've built up a very vibrant and extensive school community organisation, with a wide range of very successful events - for fun as well as fundraising.

Both Greg and Imogen will be stepping down in the summer term, and new faces are needed to keep CASCA moving forward. We'd love to offer the opportunity to take it on to an enthusiastic team.  We’ll meet for no more than 30 minutes just after the Parents’ Forum - we really hope you’ll join us.

If you can’t make the meeting but are interested in taking on a CASCA core team role in 2018-19, please email Greg on or Imogen on .
