This week: Quiz Night, Camden Youth Awards

    Quiz Night
Many thanks to CASCA for running such an enjoyable Quiz Night on 21 March. It was remarkably well-attended and the atmosphere was light, friendly, and just slightly competitive!

Jason's quiz questions provided a great balance of interest and challenge, and the sporting theme reflected our ambition to improve our outdoor facilities. David's wit and firmness in keeping things moving meant that the experience was highly enjoyable even when there were impossible questions to ponder!

The food was delicious, thanks to Rider and all the parents who gave their time and culinary skills to make dinner a highlight of the evening. The legendary CASCA bar provided a cheerful service, as always, and kept the drinks flowing all night; many thanks to Andy and the team.

The astonishing total of £920 raised from the raffle is thanks to Mary Kavanagh for her dedication and inspiration, and to generous parents who gave wonderful items for her to offer; thanks to Lola for her support with this. Special thanks to Louisa for the beautiful posters! Thanks as well to Richard for liaising with Martyn Gerrard and getting their support.

Many parents gave advice and tips about running a Quiz Night, helped with the washing up and pitched in to clear the hall at the end.

Our students were energetic, friendly and efficient, and made everything run really smoothly throughout the evening.

None of this would happen without the commitment and hard work of the CASCA committee and Quiz Night Team - many thanks to all for creating such an enjoyable event, and to everyone who came along to make the occasion so enjoyable.

It was also lovely to see other girls in Year 8 at the event with the NW5 project and Niva in Year 11 perform as part of the dance group.

    Well done girls!
