Very many thanks to everyone who contributed. We'll be saying more when the new school buildings are being opened, so watch this space.

CASCA TEAM - new team members needed!
Would you like to help lead CASCA, our school community organisation, into the next year and beyond?

We'll need new enthusiastic parents and carers to lead CASCA next year, as several core team members are stepping down after a very successful few years!  We need a new Chair and a new Vice-Chair, to replace Greg and Imogen (both are parent-governors).  We also need a new co-Treasurer, to work with Maia. Barbara is happy to continue to be Secretary.

Getting involved with CASCA, and being part of the core team, is a great way to meet other parents as well as build good links with the school. Several of us joined the core team when our daughters were in year 7 or 8 (missing the more regular playground contacts of primary school!) - and have loved the fantastic community spirit and the 'keeping in touch' that it brings.

The role of the core team of officers is to make sure that our schedule of events is coordinated; liaise with the school and sponsors and undertake any trouble-shooting; and to make sure that CASCA members know about and come along all our events, by good communication.

We also have a committed wider team of 'event leaders' to organise and run each of the specific CASCA activities throughout the year, as well as a huge, fantastic pool of volunteers who make things happen.

If you're interested in taking on a CASCA core team role in 2018-19, or just finding out more, please email Greg on or Imogen on
