    As part of the ICT enrichment programme, we entered our largest number of students yet with an incredible 114 students from across years 7-12 into the Bebras Computing Challenge which introduces computational thinking to students.

    It is organised in over 50 countries and designed to get students all over the world excited about computing, the results of which were published today (06/01/2021). All students who participated will receive their certificates via their year heads when normal school resumes.

    Results are as follows:

    • Best in school in the 12-14 age category: Kitty T in year 7
    • Best in school in the 14-16 age category: Isabel L in year 10
    • Best in school in the 16-18 age category: Mirjala F, Sophie H, Tasfia K, Salma M and Rahima T in year 12.


    We also had 3 students who achieved a top 10% Bebras score in their age group nationally and received the Gold standard:

    • Kitty T - Year 7
    • Edie S- Year 7
    • Isabel - Year 10 - Isabel performed so well that she has been invited to compete in the Oxford University Computing Challenge

    Across the other entries we had:

    • 78 students achieved a Distinction
    • 25 students achieved a Merit
