Science

At CSG, we believe in science for all. Our science lessons are engaging, accessible, and welcoming  environments where students develop the skills to think critically, analyse evidence, and evaluate information.

KS3

Students build a strong foundation across biology, chemistry, and physics, from the human digestive system to the periodic table to energy transfers, preparing them thoroughly for GCSE study.

KS4

Students follow the AQA Combined Science GCSE, which counts as two GCSEs and covers all three sciences. Students also have the option to study Triple Science, which extends the material covered in the Combined Science qualification and results in separate GCSEs in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Both routes provide a rich understanding of the natural world and the scientific skills needed for further study.

KS5

We offer A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, all of which are popular and high-attaining courses.
