    Please join 250 students, staff, family members and alumni in a 5km Fun Run in Regent’s Park on 4 July, to raise money for much needed IT equipment at the school.

  • Aims of the school

    Camden was founded as a school for girls in 1871 by Frances Mary Buss, one of the great pioneers of women's education. The school therefore has a long tradition of promoting opportunities for girls.

    We are busy preparing for our yearly celebration of the founding of the school in 1871 by Frances Mary Buss. The last day of the Spring Term is always Founder's Day, in commemoration of the first Camden School for Girls Foundation Day on 4 April 1884.

    History and Theology Holocaust Day


    Holocaust survivors Bob and Ann Kirk came to talk to the Year 9 students about their experiences as Jewish children in Nazi Germany and their escape on the Kinder-transport. Year 9 then went to the Jewish Museum to learn more about the Holocaust and Jewish belief on a joint History and Theology Holocaust day.

Our Sixth Form

We believe that the two years spent in the Sixth Form should be a pivotal period in the lives of our students: a time for maturing as well as developing academically, with many opportunities for rich and varied new experiences. We aim to foster in our students both self-confidence and an independence of mind so that they can approach their learning with vigour and enthusiasm.

Our success is reflected in our excellent exam results and rate of progression to Higher Education.
