All pupils are expected to wear the following P.E. kit for lessons: Navy blue/black bottoms and a white CSG t-shirt (purchased from the school) and trainers accordingly.
Year 7 pupils have 2 lessons a week of 80mins.
Areas of the curriculum covered include: Dance, Skateboarding, Trampolining and Football.
Year 8 pupils have 1 lesson a week of 80 minutes.
Areas of the curriculum covered include: Outwitting Opponents, Leadership (through Football), Trampolining and Rounders.
Year 9 pupils have 1 lesson a week of 80 minutes.
In Year 9, students begin to follow the GCSE PE Short Course criteria in Trampolining, Rounders and Fitness. They also begin work on their first piece of Controlled Assessment - the Personal Exercise Plan.
Pupils are assessed using National Curriculum levels at the end of every unit. The average of these levels is taken to give pupils an overall level at the end of each year.
