Yes, you can still apply. However, if you are applying under the distance criterion, it is highly unlikely that your application would be successful. Please refer to our Admissions Policy for full details.
You do not apply directly to the school. You must fill out the online application for a secondary school place and you may list as many as six schools on that form.
However, you should register with the school to undertake the banding assessment (and if you are a music applicant, you should also register for the music aptitude assessment. Please click here in order to do so online.
There is no need to register. Just turn up promptly at the start of the session.
Yes. Your daughter is most welcome to attend and see the school for herself.
No. However, you can do a virtual tour and if you are still considering applying your daughter will come into school for her banding assessment.
Please telephone the school office on (020) 7485 3414 to arrange a meeting with the SEN team. If possible, your daughter should sit the banding assessment.
That is entirely up to you and it is your choice as a parent. The school does not receive any information about where a parent lists Camden School for Girls on the application form. Bear in mind however that your daughter will not be offered a place at Camden School for Girls nor placed on a waiting list should she be offered a place at another school listed higher on her preference form. You will be notified which school you have been offered a place at through your local authority on national offer day which is 1 March.
The school will write to you to invite you for an induction meeting in the summer term. At this meeting, you will be expected to provide documentary evidence of your permanent home address. If you are unable to provide this, the governors may withdraw the offer of a place. Please see the admissions policy for more information.
