STALLS: great stalls make for a great event! We'd love to hear from you if you'd like to run or help on a stall at the SummerFest - and also welcome new ideas for stalls. Please let Irene know (she's written to all previous stallholders) by Monday, if possible, firstname.lastname@example.org. Irene has also written to all previous stallholders to invite you to be part of the SummerFest this year too, please let her know if you'd like to, asap.
PRIZES: we need lots of prizes for the raffle and tombola, and our local businesses are usually very generous. Would you be happy to approach local businesses for donations as prizes, in the next few weeks? Please let Katrina know, she'll tell you more, email@example.com.
BATTLE OF THE BANDS: we're also looking for a parent to lead this year's Battle of the Bands, one of the real highlights of the SummerFest, together with the school music department. Not a big but an important role, including finding 3 judges. Please let Katrina know if you'd like to take this on, firstname.lastname@example.org.
SILENT AUCTION: Nicki also needs lots of fabulous items for the Silent Auction to take place during the Summerfest, so if you can secure any designer clothes, bags, or event or show tickets, beautiful objects, limited edition items....anything that will attract lots of attention and raise lots of money for the school, please email Nicki, email@example.com.

Our fundraising focus this year is on sustainable dining for the students, including dishwashers and plates and cutlery for the kitchen.
CASCA URGENTLY NEEDS NEW LEADERS - FROM 15 MAY!
We urgently need new enthusiastic team members to lead CASCA next year! We need to hand over the baton - can you take it?
At the AGM on 15 May, both Greg and Imogen will be stepping down, after several really successful CASCA years. So we need new officers to lead the organisation. Several positions are needed, and we're looking for new committee members to share roles and tasks broadly, to reduce workload on individuals. Job-sharing for key roles are very much a possibility.
In particular, we need a new Chair and Vice-Chair, plus a new co-Treasurer, to share work with Maia, and someone to share the Secretary role with Barbara. CASCA likes to play to people's strengths and we welcome job-shares!
CASCA has a fantastic community spirit and an integral and crucial part of the school. Getting involved, and being part of the core team, is a great way to meet other parents and keep in touch with and build links with the school.
The job of the core team of officers is to:
• make sure that the overall schedule of events is coordinated and well-managed
• liaise with the school, sponsors, bank and other partners, and do any trouble-shooting
• ensure that CASCA members know about and come along all our events, by good communication and publicity
The officers support a much wider team of 'event leaders', who organise and run each of the specific CASCA activities over the year, with a huge, fantastic pool of volunteers who make things happen.
The school isn't expecting the same amount of work or focus on fundraising in the coming year, and we're also leaving some money in the bank after everyone's generosity to go towards the new priority of sustainable dining
