For the past three weeks in English, Year 9 have been writing and delivering speeches in class on a topic of their choice. On Monday 8 May, thirteen Year 9 students were selected to deliver their speeches to the whole year group. The standard of the speeches, both in class and in the competition, was exceptionally high this year with topics ranging from Black Lives Matter to Abolishing Homework.
