This week: Comic Relief, Founder’s day.
Last week students ran a range of activities in support of Comic Relief. Every day, there was a cake and biscuit sale with all sorts of red, crimson, pink and multi-coloured food available. Much of the food was made by students themselves, or by very helpful parents. On Friday, we enjoyed the colourful and unusual outfits students wore to celebrate Red Nose Day, and a wonderful Talent Show featuring dance, singing (including some original compositions), mime and some fantastic jokes from Maya and Dolly. The atmosphere was light and humorous, just right for Comic Relief, and the enthusiastic audience showed their appreciation with loud applause and generous donations.
Many thanks to everyone who supported the event.
We are now busy preparing for Founder’s Day. All parents are invited to come along and enjoy seeing our students participating in our annual celebration of the work of our Founder, Frances Mary Buss.
