This week: International Women’s Day, Letter from Nick Gibb.

    International Women’s Day

We began our celebrations of International Women’s Day with an assembly about careers for women. The message was clear - women can follow ANY career they choose, and they must not accept any limits on their ambitions.

On the day itself, a group of students attended an event at Arlington House to celebrate women in the arts, media and creative industries. There were presentations by an architect, a writer, film maker and app creator. It was an excellent opportunity to celebrate women’s achievements in a range of fascinating careers.

    Letter from Nick Gibb

I’m delighted to announce that Camden School for Girls has received a letter from Nick Gibb, School Standards minister, noting the high standards achieved in the school in relation to the English Baccalaureate. Congratulations to all of last year’s Year Eleven students, who worked hard to achieve excellent GCSE outcomes. Many thanks to all the teachers who helped them with their studies.
