We raised an awesome £1070, the highest we have ever achieved at this yearly event.
On Monday, 12 December the Sixth Form Management Team and a very large group of generous, vibrant and musical Sixth formers spent two hours singing at Highbury and Islington Tube station to raise money for Crisis, the charity for the homeless. We sang all the old favourites, including traditional hymns and soppy pop songs, accompanied by Mr Byers on the keyboard.
It was a fantastic experience with passing children stopping and joining in and the public giving very generously. In total, we raised an awesome £1070, the highest we have ever achieved at this yearly event.
I would like to thank everybody involved for giving up their time and, above all, for contributing to a really enjoyable and uplifting musical interlude.
