    MG Boards, Parents' Forum, Quiz Night and Table Top Sale.

     

     

    - PARENTS' FORUM - Thursday 2 March, 7pm - Kids and Screen Time: How Much Is Too Much?  Managing Screen Time is the topic for our next Parents' Forum, presented by child behaviour expert Noël Janis-Norton.  We hope to see you there for a lively discussion.

     

     

     

    - QUIZ NIGHT - Thursday 16 March, 7pm

    Book a date for the Legendary Casca Quiz Night! Our resident revolutionary Quiz Master David Baddiel will pose questions curated by Mark Edmonds. Sam & Sam Clarke of Moro are devising a moorish menu with shades of the Spanish Civil War. Fabulous Moro cocktails, Red, Red wine & Mary’s classic CASCA Raffle!  Tickets £15. Team tables of 8 to 10 with free raffle tickets for every full table booked. Book early on ParentPay to avoid disappointment - tickets are selling very fast!

     

     

    Good items needed for the Quiz Night raffle please, such as.....a meal for two in a restaurant, wines and spirits, nice but unwanted gifts, author-signed new books... Please hand in any donated raffle prizes to Reception.

     

    Martyn Gerrard Boards - will promote the Quiz Night - please let us know by 20 February if you can host a board to raise money for the school. Last year, hosted boards raised more £2,600. Our first boards will be put up in the week of 6 March and taken down by 27 March. The content will make it clear to your neighbours that you're supporting CSG, not putting your house on the market!  If you're willing to help, please send an e-mail to gremlin120@me.com with the subject title 'I'LL TAKE A BOARD' no later than 5pm on Monday 20 February. Please provide the following information, which will not be shared or distributed by MG:  TITLE (e.g., Mr, Ms, etc...for 'thank you' notes later), FIRST and LAST NAME, STREET ADDRESS, POST CODE, TELEPHONE NUMBER.

     

    - TABLE TOP SALE - Saturday 18 March, 2.30 - 4.30pm - tables are still available, but rails are sold out. Tables (6ft x 2ft 6") cost £20. You may be able to bring your own rail (charge £5), but space is limited. All must be booked in advance. Please contact Irene on irene@blossomandrose.co.uk to check availability - then pay via ParentPay (or cash or cheque to Irene). All the money your raise is yours (no commission)!  If you could spare a couple of hours to help with the event on 18 March, we'd be delighted: please email Rachel or Sheila: rachel@rachelorme.com or sd@philcoxgray.co.uk.

     

    - DRAMSTOCK! -  a huge thank you to everyone who helped make Dramstock! such a success - almost 200 people joined in and we raised over £1,400 for drama and music at the school - many congratulations. Particular thanks to parent Royston Deitch for having the idea and making it happen and to Mr Byers for all his hard work within the school - and, of course, all the fabulous performers.
