As the editor of Camden's magazine, Sixth Sense, it is essential that I stay on top of current affairs and present the news that Sixth formers, as well as main schoolers want to read. So, for this month's edition, I chose the theme of Mental Health Awareness - something which I believe is not only a 'hot topic', but a crucial point of discussion for pupils in secondary school.

In the edition, you can read about the quest for perfection that so many young men and women face, what it’s like to live with depression and how mental health has been presented as something inherently female in literature.

The magazine will be on sale next Thursday and Friday lunchtimes in the foyer, with all proceeds being donated to St John's Hospice, who provide emotional and psychological support to the community, and to its patients. Please pick up a copy and if writing/editing is something that interests you, please don't hesitate to talk with me!
