Opportunities for young people.
Drivers for Change
Drivers for Change is an organisation exploring how social enterprise, private business and the arts can come together to create place-based change in UK communities.
This June 100 young leaders will come together to take part in a unique 11-day immersive learning journey - the first of its kind in the UK! Drivers for Change will visit 8 towns and cities across the UK and meet inspiring role models - entrepreneurs, activists, community organisers and artists - that are working to make their communities thrive. These inspirational visits will be coupled with a leadership and enterprise skills programme and each participant will also receive practical advice and support to create their own social action or enterprise plan.
By exploring innovative practice and developing skills, the participants will gain a greater understanding of how they can create social impact within their own communities.

Future of Work for Young People
Technology is having a transformative effect on employment patterns, requiring new approaches to skill development and partnerships across sectors to enable individuals to prepare for, and thrive in, jobs of the future.
The London hub of Global Shapers, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, is holding a youth-led consultation on the Future of Work for young people aged 18 to 30. The collective global findings will be presented to the official G7 representation at the 2018 G7 Summit, hosted in June in Canada.
The consultation will be held in central London on Monday, March 26th, from 7- 9:30pm. To ensure we incorporate a diverse and deep set of perspectives, we are reaching out to a broad range of groups to see if they are interested in participating. We would be delighted if you can join us.
This is an invitation only event for young people aged 18 to 30 only, and we have a limited number of spaces available. Please RSVP through this Eventbrite link, by March 15.
