Can you help?
As you know, Camden School for Girls has been undergoing a fantastic renovation to modernise classrooms, common areas and the dining hall. CASCA was asked to raise funds to furnish these sparkling new spaces - that's where our ambitious 60 for 60 Campaign came in.
The work will be finished soon - it will add tremendous value and help ensure the school remains a beacon of excellence.
Many of you have already contributed to 60 for 60 - by joining in our SummerFest, Dance-a-thon or More@Moro and other CASCA events, or as direct donors. The support from parents has been utterly amazing.
Thank you so much!
We're delighted to tell you that, together, we've passed our initial target of £60,000 - and bought the things we pledged to: all the new chairs and tables, plus a cooker and a couple of freezers for the new dining hall; several named benches; a new roof of ceiling tiles; a fabulous modern display board for the new reception area; plus new mirrors, locks and doors to make the toilets better for the students (with further improvements to the loos in the coming year).
But there is much more we could help with, and we're on a roll, so we've told the school we'll have one last push before our 60 for 60 anniversary on Founder's Day. Emboldened, we are now reaching for the proverbial sky.
Can you help?
If you'd still like to contribute, to add more sparkle to the spaces and make a donation before the work is finished, now's your chance! We - and the school - would be over the moon.
A donation - of any amount - could help with:
- a green roof on the front reception
- three new interactive panels for the refurbished classrooms
- light fittings for the new extension
- a new sign for the front of the school building
- new flooring in the classrooms
- an acoustic screen for the 6th form private study area - one perhaps for 6th form parents wanting to contribute.
There are also more benches to be sponsored.
All our 60 for 60 supporters will be acknowledged in a fabulous window sign at the school - a powerful message of solidarity in challenging times.
Many thanks, to ALL our donors and supporters! We've been thrilled by your support.
