    CASCA AGM

Thanks to everyone who came along to the CASCA Meeting and AGM this week. We were delighted to elect and welcome Lola Adesanya to work with Maia as Co-Treasuer. Lola has a daughter in Year 7, works at King's College London and has previously been Co-Chair of the PTA at her primary school.

We also said a big thanks to Greg and Imogen, who were stepping down as Chair and Vice-Chair.  We will circulate the Annual Report on ParentMail - it makes great reading!

PARENTS' FORUM - Thursday 14 June - on friendship issues.

Make a date with your diary for a presentation and discussion on a topic relevant to most parents of teens.  Do let Anna and Laurel know if you have any topics you'd like to see covered in Parents' Forum, laurel_ives@hotmail.com or anna.mishcon@bbc.co.uk

    SUMMERFEST - Friday 22 June, 6 - 9pm - stall volunteers and prizes needed.

Our annual SummerFest is just 5 weeks away and we're looking forward to a real festival spirit, with fabulous music, delicious food and great stalls....and entertainment for the whole family. But for it to be a great event, we need lots of CSG parents to help to create all the fun!

We need lots more volunteers (including new volunteers!) to run the stalls and help out, on the following stalls in particular:

    - Cakes & Tea Stall
    - Slime Stall
    - Plant Stall
    - Hairspray
    - Burgers Grill
    - Beauty Parlour and Nailbar

We'd also love offers of new stalls. Please email Irene, irene@blossomandrose.co.uk if you can help out, or if you have an idea for a new stall, or have worked on a stall in previous years and can do so again.

    PRIZES

We also need lots of prizes for the tombola and raffle, as well as the Silent Auction - all really popular at the SummerFest.

Silent Auction: Our Silent Auction is always popular - but it takes unique, money-can't-buy items to make it really successful. If you can offer any designer clothes or bags, tickets for events or shows, beautiful objects, artwork, limited edition items....anything that will attract lots of attention and raise lots of money for the school, please email  Nicki, nicolalongfoot@mac.com.

Tombola and Raffle: if you have any nice, unused items for the Tombola or Raffle, or anything for a Bric-a-Brac stall - we'd love to receive it!  We need: home made delicacies; bottles of wine, liqueur or spirits; signed books; unwanted gifts; bags; glassware; toiletries and perfume; chocolates and sweets; toys or make-up; or local vouchers for a hairdresser or stationery, for example. Please send any offerings as soon as possible to School Reception marked as 'SummerFest'.

Please get in touch with Katrina, k.scior@ucl.ac.uk, our CASCA SummerFest lead this year, if you'd like to play a part in this fun event and can spare a bit of time before or on the evening.

    DANCE-A-THON: Friday 29 June

A favourite with the students, led by Nicki Longfoot. Please let Nicki know if you'd like to help, nicolalongfoot@mac.com
We're raising funds at these events to make school dining more sustainable - and buy new dishwasher, crockery and cutlery for the canteen.

    Best wishes,
CASCA Team - looking for some new leaders!
