Quiz Night, Parents' Forum, Table Top Sale....
Camden Quiz Night – Tickets now on sale: Thursday 15 March
Always very popular and always lots of fun! Don't miss out - buy your tickets on ParentPay today.
This year it's an Anti-Throwaway Quiz Night, hosted by actor and comedian David Schneider. Book a table team of 10, and get a free strip of raffle tickets. Once you've paid on ParentPay, please let Kate know if you have any table seating or dietary requests, firstname.lastname@example.org . All money raised will support students at the school - while the Quiz Night is promoting sustainable dining, the funds raised will help the school caterers do the same, in the school canteen.
We'll need raffle prizes too, for the popular Quiz Night raffle - so please put aside anything you could donate.
Parents’ Forum - Thursday 8 March - 'A Bluffer’s Guide to Social Media’ - Ravin Sampat, Assistant Editor of BBC Stories
Do you understand your streaks from your snaps? Are you familiar with the way your child uses Instagram Stories? Increasingly our children are living much of their lives on social media, but for many parents this rapidly evolving online world is a mystery. Ravin Sampat has led the way in digital innovation at the BBC - creating the first ever documentary using Snapchat for Panorama. In a practical, hands-on talk, he will demystify the language and tools of social media, to help parents (and their kids) avoid some of the common hazards of trolling, negative talk, bullying and inappropriate posting.
