    Welcome Back!

     

     

    Welcome back and Happy New Year!  We hope you had a good festive family time and a restful break. We've got lots planned this term - for fun as well as fundraising.

     

    Dramstock! - Friday 26 January, 7pm
    A lively concert with student, parent and teacher bands. Royston Deitch is looking for extra performers. See details below.

     

    CASCA Open Meeting
    Will be postponed and we'll have a short CASCA meeting on Thursday 6 March, just before the Parents' Forum. So please CANCEL the meeting on Weds 17 January from your diary.

     

    Parents' Forum - Thursday 6 March
    Anna Mishcon and Laurel Ives are leading on this - we'll announce the topic and speakers shortly. We'll also be interested to hear of any topics you'd like covered over the coming year.

     

    Quiz Night - Thursday 15 March
    Always lots of fun, Kate Cullinan is leading on it this year. Watch out for more information.

     

    Table Top Sale - Saturday 17 March
    We'll be in touch about how you can book a table - Rachel Orme, Sheila Donn and Irene Graham lead on this.

     

    SUMMER TERM

    CASCA AGM: Tuesday 15 May - overview of the year, and elections for officers. Watch this space.

    SummerFest: Friday 22 June - will need a lead coordinator, and team members, this year.

     

     

    DRAMSTOCK! - Friday 26 January, 7pm

    Dramstock! is coming up soon - a fun concert to liven up late January, with music, refreshments and dancing. You can now buy tickets on your ParentPay account - £10 for adults, £5 for students.

     

    Royston (roysston@hotmail.com) needs some more parent musicians and bands, as well as students' bands (including some dance-y ones)!  He'd love to hear from you if you'd like to play on the night. Please email him directly. Students should let Mr Byers know if they are keen to perform!

     

     

    60 FOR 60

    The anniversary of our 60 for 60 campaign is on Founders Day. Watch this space. Thank you to everyone who has contributed. If you would still like to you can do so through your ParentPay account.

     

    EASYFUNDRAISING

    Many thanks to everyone who signed up to Easyfundraising. We now have a fabulous 209 supporters who've raised a total of £2,163.11 for the school - including about £260 over the Christmas period.  Every little helps!

     

    There's still time to sign up - useful if you're shopping in the January sales. Make sure you set up a reminder, to route your shopping through Easyfundraising.     TICKETS FOR SCHOOLS - discounts on theatre tickets

    Great news - we've just heard that we've collectively raised a further £400 for the school by buying theatre tickets through Tickets4Schools. Tickets are sold to parents and staff at a discounted price, which includes a mandatory donation (usually £5 per ticket) to the school.
