This week: More@Moro, COGA Lunch, Pink Week.
The more@moro CASCA event was an outstanding success. It was lovely see students being part of it through music-making (and posy-making) and for guests to see them on arrival. Then guests were welcomed by the CASCA team and from Sam and Sam Clark into their beautiful and stylish restaurant, making everyone feel at home and very much part of the event. Everything was tightly organised - hot, delicious food was served so efficiently and was enjoyed by all guests! The planning around the auction and raffle was phenomenal, as well as all the tickets sales, publicity and seating. The 60 for 60 campaign has been a huge success, and that is down to CASCA as an imaginative, determined, approachable and highly effective team. I'm really looking forward to our opening event, and seeing the new extensions furnished and finished through parent power!
There was a lovely, convivial atmosphere and a true sense of belonging to CSG and the staggering fund-raising result is wonderful news for the school.
Many thanks to all who donated items for auction, and who just came along and supported the event.
The Camden Old Girls (COGA), met for their annual lunch on Saturday, 14 October. As always, the hall was beautifully decorated with flowers on the tables, and copies of the Newsletter were available for purchase. Attendance was good, and we heard a report on COGA’s year from committee members and an update on events in school from me. The food was delicious, thanks to Rider Coddington, and the afternoon ended with a raffle and a sale of the table flowers. COGA members travel for miles to come along and remain in contact with the school. Many thanks to the COGA Committee for all their hard work organising the event.
We are drawing to the close of another successful Pink Week, with events including busking by staff and students every break-time, a Dance-off between teachers and students, a sale of pink things (no matter what!) and the legendary Pink Catwalk and Conga on Friday.
Well done Head Girl Team for such fabulous organisation!
